Combining operational data from other sources — particularly Big Data sets — is a “next step” for companies investing in Big Data. The real value of Big Data is now evident: when combined with all the relevant data inside out outside the organization it delivers the deepest possible insight for business decisions. The challenge now is how to blend together all the data needed for these insights regardless of its type of where its being stored, while preserving the performance, governance, semantics and accuracy of the data required to make the best possible decisions from analytics. The answer is Data Blending. Attend this session to learn: What is ‘data blending’? How you can take this “next step” with little investment or new skills. Examples of companies taking the “next step” in big data and benefiting from at-the-source Data Blending.
