The power of visualizing data is still in the hands of select people. Data visualizations can be extremely powerful, but also are still comparatively hard to create. Data visualization is a multi-disciplinary field and visualization usually requires a blend of journalism, design, data and engineering skills.

This talk explores the principles and technology behind empowering design professionals to tell stories with data, eliminating some of the difficulties and democratizing the data visualization process.
