Steven Hillion has been leading large engineering and analytics projects for 15 years. Prior to Greenplum, he was VP of engineering at M-Factor, where he built analytical applications that became global standard for demand-modeling at companies like Coca-Cola. Before that, he led development of a new application platform at QRS. At Kana Communications, Steven led the engineering group during the two largest releases of its flagship product, which was the engine for online support at companies like Yahoo! and eBay. Steven received Ph.D. in mathematics from the University of California and was a King Charles I scholar at Oxford University.
