Impure is a visual programming language that supports the development of workspaces that enable the exploration of complex datasets. The main goal of Impure is to assist non-expert users in the manipulation and understanding of data through a set of visual elements that, connected among them, operate and visualize the data supporting the generation of insight.

I will demonstrate influential author prediction, paper recommendation and an Open API.
Interactive simulations of wildfires and traffic are projected down onto a physical sandtable. Users can change the modeled topography by moving the sand directly and have the elevation map generated by a projector camera pair. GIS layers with active agent-based models are displayed for training, community outreach and incident command by public safety workers.
